We will advertise (on our website www.portsmouthmuseums.co.uk  and elsewhere) the resources and archives as they become accessible in Portsmouth History Centre. Archives not moved to the Central Library will be available by prior arrangement.

Special opening times for the bicentenary in 2012
Although normally open daily mid-April - September, 10.00am - 5.30pm the Birthplace will have a specially extended season in 2012 opening from 28 January to 4 November 2012.
Also for 2012 both the Charles Dickens' Birthday, 7 February 10.00am - 5.00pm and Sunday 5 February will be open for free at timed slots throughout the day.
